Ahhh, the Crying-Real-Kawaii-Princess-Tears trend … because there is no such thing as ugly crying in the Kawaii Kapital of the world.

Read on if you want to know how I achieved this look using Etude House products!

Step 1: Line your eyes using Oh m’Eye Line liquid liner.

Tip: Lining your eyes thicker in the centre of your lids will create a more rounded eye effect. If you want a sleek, feline look, apply more eyeliner towards the ends!

The applicator is quite thin, so that you can create a very slim, natural line on your upper lash line. (But that doesn’t mean you can create a larger cat eye if that’s what you want!) For this look, I’m using the colour 1 BLACK, but the liner also comes in grey and brown.

Step 2: Accentuate your lashes using Lash Perm Volume mascara.

Tip: Using a horizontal zig zag motion when coating your lashes with your favourite mascara, then hold the wand vertically and push your lashes upwards for your second coat!

This mascara enhances your lashes by providing the “fan-out” effect your peepers need for that boost! The brush is a squiggly “S” shape, making it easy to create drama on the eye.

The Lash Perm mascara also comes in a waterproof version, for days you’re actually crying!

Step 3: Apply Tear Drop Liner in the colour of your choice on your inner corner (tear ducts) and in the first half of your lower lash line.

I picked up two different flexes since these were so adorable, it’s impossible to own just one! The liner on the left has golden flexes, perfect for those with warm complexions, and the one on the right may look white, but it actually has iridescent purple flexes. I always receive a lovely little surprise when swatching Etude House products!
