Neon Skull Tutorial

Hey guys!! I know Halloween is super super over (like, a full month over) but apparently I’m still not over these spooky looks. Don’t worry, I’m preparing a few looks and maybe videos for the holidays and I’m really excited to share those with you!

The other day, I tried following the neon skull tutorial by James Charles (below):

He does a fantastic job of explaining the process while also being concise and to the point (I hate when beauty gurus talk go on and on)!

I attempted the look first with oranges because I thought they would show up better on my skin. I was wrong haha. Then I tried again with purple shadows and finally I settled with green. I’m still not completely satisfied with the look and honestly I haven’t been this frustrated when completing a makeup look for quite some time. I think that’s a good thing because it means I’m still growing as an artist. The last thing I would want is to plateau in my art.

(Pssst, if you haven’t seen my new portfolio yet, here it is: portfolio.lumenbeltran.com. You can see the other halloween makeup looks I’ve done this year!)

What kind of looks do you guys wanna see for the holidays? Let me know in the comments xx
