After 5 Days of Fashion, I thought I had seen it all. But boy, was I wrong.
Lakme Fashion Week Day 5 featured Hyderabad based fashion designer Jayanti Reddy, popular for her timeless, feminine creations. Lucky for us, we’ve been blessed with quintessential ethnic wear for the coming season!
Her elegant formal wear pieces were a captivating offering on the ramp. With naturally dyed, hand-woven textiles, Jayanti splashed the ensembles with beautiful, intricate hand embroidery. Flared poncho tops were teamed with dhoti pants, while angular lace tunics looked divine on pristine white, flared, long skirts.
It’s no wonder Bollywood babes like Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonali Bhendre, and Aditi Rao Hyadri favour her collections!
Bollywood star Disha Patani graced the runway with an embroidered, ink blue lehenga (long skirt) and choli (crop top) combo. She remarks,
“It’s a beautiful outfit which is wearable for any occasion. It’s very lightweight and the lovely designer has made the entire collection with materials that are so easy to wear, soft, and easily likeable. As a woman, you need to be very presentable and Jayanti Reddy has something to offer that you should not miss!”
Disha Patani sure had every woman in the room staring at such a classic Jayanti Reddy ensemble in awe!
